The torch and the tortured, both produce flame at the same time, Beijing Olympics 2008. A collosal event, an interwinining of different cultures, and colours that merge to form a distinct and unique entity of its own. It can only be Olympics. But it has been dampened by the recent events of Tibet-China conflict. A manmade conflict, that drew a beautiful tradition of years into it's web, and made a point of political interest. As rightly said, the Olympic does not belong to a country, but to the world. So even if the Olympic torch did pass in Delhi, it is not a defeat for the true and strong, but a victory for sport.
